Evrošola – interactive flash game

After two successful years for the Evrošola game we are rolling out a new updated version of the Evrošola flash game for high school kids. The client decided that the game landing page should have more information about the topic and should be more open in terms of  communication channels towards young users, especially towards social networks. The main landing page should be also more informative through the whole year not just during one month when the game competition is held. We worked closely with our client Evropski parlament – Informacijska pisarna za Slovenijo to help them and understand social networks and implement content with a focus on the young user base.

The brief was very concide and after months of research we came up with a fully redesigned landing HTML page with integrated social network for Twitter and Facebook.  We wanted the landing page to be more attractive and more informative about the game status and for that we prepared a new design that included s countdown clock and a 3d view game interface to emphasis the nature of the game itself.

We also made a few changes on the game engine side to make the game even more interesting. One missing features was the ability to play the game in full screen mode, it now allows whole new level of  game experience. During non-competing period playing users are informed about the correct answers immediately and that gives a completely new level of learning experience. Putting all the national anthems as audio clips makes the extra content even more interesting while updating some action with sound clips to bring more natural feelings into game interaction.

The update was so thrilling that we decided to updated almost all parts of the game and this includes the administration panel for e-communication, higher security and introducing a new control panel for game supervision of data flow. The new 120 EU questions will definitely make a thought provoking challenge for all high schools competing for the trip to the EU parliament in Strasbourg next spring.
